Today was the day that Tennessee Hot Sauce Co became official. The final appointment with the Department of Agriculture went great, despite my sloppiness at the kitchen, and so now we can produce officially and sell and distribute across state lines. We had some hiccups along the way today, like an outlet not working so everything had to be dragged around, and me booking the wrong day so there weren’t any available work stations. Plus I got a parking ticket for parking on a side street. There wasn’t even a sign! Whatever, at least the sauce production was great. It looked great, it smelled great…the ingredients were fresh and fragrant, and you can’t ask for anything more than that.
There is still some paperwork that we have to make sure we have on file going forward, but all in all, it was a great day!
